Happy Labor Day Weekend!!

A little backgroud information on myself; I have been staring at this blog for months now, thinking of something really useful to write about. I finally decided to blog about the things I find the most helpful and fun; recipes :-)

I have been a dieter for years now, switching from low carb, all natural, crash diet, and all the rest. Some success has been made on these diets, but nothing that has been a diet that will last. Recently, I began the Paleo diet craze and have been very happy with it.

Paleo is choosing to eat foods that are easiset for your body to use and digest such as: meat protien, veggies, fruits, nuts, and healthy fats. In return you are eating gluten free, lower carb, and less processed foods. My grocery cart has gone from piles of 100 calorie packs to pure produce. Some of my favorite aspects of this diet (besides losing weight) are the abilities to still make my favorite foods and play with recpies. I am able to make pancakes, cupcakes, steak dinners, and chocolate chip cookies while still feelng full and not cheating on my diet.

My mission is to blog once weekly on a successful recipe worth sharing, and also any advice I have for brides out there, as I am planning a December wedding and am a planning and DIY maniac!
